On A3ril 19, 1990, members of your staff met with the NRC to discuss the cracks found in the reactor vessel head of Quad Cities, Unit 2.
At the meeting, you committed to provide to the NRC the results of the fracture mechanics analyses, the results of the boat sample metallurgical examina-tions, a summary of the fabrication history (method, materials, sequence, repairs, and heat treatment of the-susceptible regions), and a plan for-future inspection for all your Boiling Water Reactors that may be sv.sceptible to similar cracking.
Please provide within 7 days of _ the date of this letter your schedule for meeting these commitments.
