Summary of Operating Experience September 1981 Indian Point Unit 3 was synchronized to the bus for a total of 96.9 hours1.041667e-4 days
0.0025 hours
1.488095e-5 weeks
3.4245e-6 months
, producing a gross generation of 51,480 !!We for this reporting period.

The unit was removed from service at 0051 hours5.902778e-4 days
0.0142 hours
8.43254e-5 weeks
1.94055e-5 months
on September 5 for a scheduled outage. The purpose of the outage was to complete the installation of a replacement transformer for No. 32 main transformer and perform type B and C testing of the containment isolation valves. Upon completion of the outage related work the unit commenced a r.ormal startup. While at hot shutdown a primary to secondary leak developed in #31 steam generator.
