50-206 UNIT SONGS 1 DATE 1 2/2/81 COMPLETED BY T. Raidy TELEPHONE 714-492-7700 EXT: 702 Nov.1, 0001 Unit remains shutdown for modification and testing of Safety injection system. Reactor coolant system heat-up is in progress.

Nov. 2, 0427 Ccmpleted hot functional test of safety injection system. All components operated properly.

Nov. 3, 2330 Reactor critical.

Nov. 3, 0523 Unit 1 on Line at 35 MW.

Nov. 3, 1700 Unit load 390 MW.

Nov. 6, 1445 Steam generator carryover found to be.25% on A,.18% on B,.34% on C.

Nov.11, 0830 Feedwater leak noted at flow orifice upstream root valve weld for B steam generator. This leak was repaired by. welding at 0135 on Nov.12.

Nov.13, 0100 Isolation valve CV531 for PORV 545 failed to close during a routine test. On Nov.17 a temporary air supply was installed to the diaphram of CV531 and the valve was closed to stop slight leakage through PORV 545.

Nov.16, 2130 Unit load increased to 400 MW to evaluate steam generator carryover.

l Nov.18,1410 Unit load reduced to 390 MW because of high carryover from steam generators.

Nov. 19, 1314 No.1 Diesel Generator tripped on overspeed while No. 2 diesel generator was out of service for routine preventative maintenance.

Nov.19,1518 No. 2 diesel generator returned to service.

Nov.19, 2240 No.1 diesel generator overspeed problem corrected by adding oil to speed. governor oil reservoir.

Nov.19, 2133 Unit load reduced to 210 MW for condenser cleaning.

Nov. 20, 0545 Unit load 390 MW after condenser cleaning.

l Nov. 21, 0010 Unit load reduced to 382 MW for heat treat of circulating water intake.
