IEB 80-06, ESF RESET CONTROL DESIGN DEFICIENCY CALVERT CLIFFS UNITS I and 2-00CKET NO. 50-317, 318 By Task Interface Agreement ROI 80-15 the Office of Inspection and Enforcement requested NRR's review of IEB 80-06, items 1 and 3 Our reviewoof the BG&E response for Calvert Cliffs Units 1 and 2 is com-plete. The EG&G Technical Evaluation Report (TER) and our Safety Evaluation Report (SER) are attached.
We have found the licensee's response to IEB 80-06 acceptable; i.e., that all safety related equipment remains in the emergency mode upon reset of ESF actuating signals.
Pleasennote that this conclusion is in part based upon the licensee's successful completion of confirmatory tests.
