This refers to the corporate management meeting held at our request at
Indian Point Station on May 4,1977, and attended by Messrs. Caldwell,
Cahill, Kessig, and yourself of the Consolidated Edison Company and by
.
Messrs. Knapp, Streeter, and my_self of this office.
The subjects discussed during this meeting are included in the Office of
Inspection and Enforcement Inspection Report which is enclosed with this
letter.
It is our view that this meeting was effective in communicating to you
our continuing concerns related to your implementation of,an effective
radiation protection program at Indian Point Station. We understand
that corrective actions are in progress in the areas discussed.
Information contained within the enclosed inspection report has been
discussed with Mr. Kessig of your staff by telephone on May 9,1977.
During this discussion, it was concluded that the inspection report
contained no information that you considered proprietary; therefore a
copy of this letter and its enclosures are being placed. in the NRC's
Public Document Room.
