SEP TOPIC VIII-3.B DC POWER SYSTEM BUS VOLTAGE MONITORING AND ANNUNCIATION, SAFETY EVALUATION FOR BIG ROCK POINT is our contractor's final Technical Evaluation Report on this topic for your facility.
The comments contained in your January 7,1982 letter were considered in preparing Enclosure 1. is our safety Evaluation Report that is based on Enclosure 1.
We continue to propose modifications to the instrumentation associated with the safety related dc systems because the present designs do not satisfy the requirements of Section 4.20 of IEEE Std. 279-1971.
The need to actually implement these changes will be determined during the integrated safety assessment.
This safety evaluation may be revised in the future if your facility design is changed or if NRC criteria rela-ting to this topic are modified before the integrated assessment is com-pleted.
