The General Electric Company (GE) recently requested (Refs.1-2) that credit for approved, but unapplied, ECCS evaluation model changes be used to offset
!!APLHGR penalties on operating reactors due to high burnup fission gas release. Should you find the positions stated in those letters applicable to your plants and wish to apply the GE proposal to offset potential, or previously applied f1APLilGR penalties, we would find a plant-specific reference to the GE position acceptable.
