Dear Mr. De1 George:
This confirms our telephone authorization given on Tuesday, February 9, 1982 for a change in Technical Specifications for the Zion Station, Unit No. 1, as requested by the Commonwealth Edison Company letter dated January 21, 1982.
Facility Operating License No. DPR-39 is amended on February 9,1982 by making the following Technical Specification change:
Add a footnote to page 97 to read:
" Effective February 9,1982 and until shutdown for refueling about March 4, 1982, the 500 gallons per day limit for the Unit lio.1 steam generator desig-nated 1B is changed to 700 gallons per day. This Section, 3.3.3E, footnote will no longer be effective once the unit begins the' refueling cycle about March 4,1982 and this footnote will be void as of that date."
Copies of the License Amendment, our Safety Evaluation, and Federal Register Notice for this Technical Specification change will be sent to you when completed.
