Enclosure REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION EQUIPMENT ENVIRONMENTAL QUALIFICATION SAN ONOFRE UNIT 1 Based on our review of your November 4,1981 submittal, we conclude that with the exception of exposed cables, your program either has not taken into account the effect of beta radiation on electrical equipment not surrounded by casing material (for beta screening) or that you have neglected to state that all other electrical equipment is shielded by such material.
Please provide clarification.
