Madden of this office on July 20-25, 1981, at the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station, Berwick, Pennsylvania, of activities authorized by NRC Constrution Permit No. CPPR-101 and to the discussions of our findings held by Mr. Madden with Mr. H. Keiser and members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection, and ta a subsequent telephone discussion between Mr. Madden and Mr. R. Stottler on July 30, 1981. Areas examined during this inspection are described in the Office of Inspection and Enforcement Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, Je inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector. Within the scope of this inspection, no items of noncompliance were observed. In accordance with 10 CFR 73.21 of the NRC's regulations, documentation of findings of your control and accounting procedures for safeguarding special nuclear materials and your facility security measures for physical protection are deemed to be Safeguards Information. Each person who produces, receives or acquires Safeguards Information is required to ensure that it is protected against unauthorized disclosure. Therefore, except for the report cover sheet, the enclosures to this letter will not be placed in the Public Document Room and will be distributed pursuant to 10 CFR 73.21(c).
