Gentlemen: .A Subject: Report NosM69/82-0Mnd 50-370/82-01 d' This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. P. Burnett of this office on January 11-15, 1982, of activities authorized by NRC License No. NPF-9 and Construction Permit No. CPPR-84 for the McGuire facility and to the discus- sion of our findings held with Mr. M. D. McIntosh, Plant Manager, at the conclu- sion of the inspection. Areas examined during the inspection and our findings are discussed in the enclosed inspection report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector. Within the scope of this inspection, no violations or deviations were disclosed. One new unresolved item resulted from this inspection and is discussed in the enclosed report. This item will be examined during subsequent inspections. In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosure will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room unless you notify this office, by telephone, within ten days of the date of this letter and submit written appli- cation to withhold information contained therein within thirty days of the date of this letter.
