This will acknowledge receipt of your letter, dated December-23,1981, in further response to the Notice of Violation and Proposed Imposition of Civil Penalties enclosed with our letter to you dated October 1,1981, and in response to a second letter sent to you dated November 23, 1981.
The November 23 letter clarified Violation C of the Notice of Violation as requested by Carolina Power and Light Company.
This also acknowledges receipt of a check in the amount of $5,000 in final pay-ment of the $40,000 civil penalties originally proposed.
We have no further questions concerning your corrective actions set forth in the December 23,-1981 letter. -These actions will be examined during a future inspection.
