SUBJECT:
MINUTES OF CRGR MEETING #6 The CRGR held its sixth meeting on Wednesday, January 27,1982, from 1-5 pm. The following actions were taken:
(1) NRR requested a delay in CRGR review of the proposed rule on docu-menting deviations from the Standard Review Plan (Enclosure 1).
Accordingly, this agenda item will be rescheduled for CRGR review when the cost-benefit information is received from NRR.
(2) At the request of the EDO, the Committee reviewed the issues in RIL-123, " Performance of Electrical Terminal Blocks Exposed to a LOCA or Steam Environment." At the conclusion of a briefing by RES, the Committee decided to recommend to the EDO that he ask the Directors of NRR, IE and RES to immediately resolve the issues and report back within 2 weeks.
It was further recomended that the ED0 hold up the NRC reply to Con ressman Udall on this matter until the staff resolution is reached Enclosure 2).
(3) The Comittee recommended approval with modifications of the Proposed Rule on Accreditation of Testing Laboratories for Equipment Qual-ification. is the Comittee's recommendation to the EDO.
(4) The Committeendiscussed a proposal by Mr. Bernero for a standard table for Regulatory Guide implementation which RES would use for Regulatory Guides reviewed by CRGR. No resolution was reached on the form of the standard table.
