s 7590-01 UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION DOCKET NO. 50-133 PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY NOTICE OF GRANTING AN EXEMPTION FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF 10 CFR 20 The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Comission) has granted an exemption from the requirements of 10 CFR 20 " Standards for Protection Against Radiation," to the Pacific Gas and Electric Company (the licensee).
This exemption related to the definitic. of " calendar quarter" provided in 10 CFR 20.3(a)(4). The basis for this action is set forth in the Commission's Letter of Exemption and related Safety Evaluation dated December 28, 1981.
The Commission has determined that the granting of this exemption will not result in any significant environmental impact and that pursuant to 10 CFR Section 51.5(d)(4) an environmental impact statement or negative Mlaration and environmental impact appraisal need not be prepared in connection with this action.
For further details with respect to this action, see (1) the licensee's request dated October 28,1981 and (2) the Comission's Letter of Exemption and related Safety Evaluation dated December 28, 1981.
