Report No. 70-1113/81-11 Thank yoJ for your letter of November 24, 1981, informing us of steps you have taken to correct the violation concerning activities conducted under NRC License No. SNM-1097 brought to your attention in our letter of October 26, 1981.
In your response, you stated that you could neither admit nor deny the violation since it was only observed by the inspector. We acknowledge your position.
However, lack of corroboration of the observation by uninvolved plant personnel doesn't alter the findings of the inspection report.
We will examine your corrective actions and plans during subsequent inspections.
No further response in regard to this item is requested.
