t,c.nfirmation of Concurrence - Docket No. 50-328 co tv This letter confirms the telephone conversation on September 30, 1981, between Mr. James A. Coffee, Assistant Director, Division of Nuclear Power, and fir. Richard C. Lewis of my staff, during which we concurred in your plans to proceed with the initial criticality and low power testing, up to a maximum of five percent power, on Sequoyah Unit 2.
This concurrence is based on our recent site inspection verification, of the satisfactory completion of your corrective actions implemented in response to concerns identified in connection with the containment spray recirculation valve misalignment event of August 26, 1981. We will inspect the continued effectiveness of these corrective actions prior to the time you plan to exceed five percent power on the Unit.
Sincerely, 5
