Our July 22, 1981 letter to you confirced our target date (October 1,1981) for issuance of the Zimer Final Safety E. valuation Supplet..ent. At that time it was recognized that the schedule was'aubitious ano as a consequence supplement 2 to NUREG-0528 was issued on October 30, 1981 with one remaining outstanding issue, nine remaining confirmatory issues ano eight Till action plan iteas requiring turther consideration.
Based upon schedule discussions with your licensing staff we now plan to issue tne final supplement May 14, 1982.
Your completed response to the renaining iteus must be filed no later than April 16, 1982. As before, you are urged to work closely with the staff to provide the needed information on a timely basis, ahead of the acadline whenever possible, to expedite the staff review and preparation of the final supple:aent.
