Re f e re nc e is made to 16E Inspection No. 50-29/81-18, which was conducted by you r Mr.

Fo l e y o n Oc t o be r 7 - 9, 19 - 30, a nd Novembe r 9 - 2 3, 1981 at the Ya nkee Nu c l ea r Po we r S t a t i on (Yankee Rowe) in Rowe, Massachusetts.
The re po rt nade subsequent to the inspection identified one i tem whi ch appa rently was not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements.
In accordance wiih Section 2.201 of the NRC's " Rules a nd Pract ice s, Pa rt 2, Title 10 Code of Federal Regularlons, we hereby submi t the following i n f o rma t ion.

Examinations will be administered to each licensed operator and senior operator at least annoilly.

Thi s was an Isolated case, and we ha ve not had a rec u r re nc e to date.
