Tne haclear Resulatory Lonaission (the toimission) has found that:

The application for aaenutent to the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Unit 2 (the facility) Facility operating License No. UPu-79 filed by the Tennessee Valley nuthority (licensee), dateo beceuber 16, 1931, complies with the standards cno requirements of the Atouic Energy Act of 1954, d3 oMended (the ACL) arid the Loca.11ssion's regulations as set forth in 10 LFK Chapter I; b.
The facility will operate in confornity with the license, as atended, the provisions of the Act, and the rules uno regulations of the to:.ni ssi on; C.
There is reasonable assurance (1) that the activities authorized by this ar.endnent can be conducted without endangering the health and safety of uie public, and (ii) that sucn activities will be conducted in cornpliarice with the Comission's regulations; D.
The issuance of this an.endrcent will not bc inimical to the coamon defense and security or to the health and safety of the public; and L.
The issuance of this anenonent is in accordance with 10 Lt h Part 51 of the tc.nission's regulations and all applicable rer;uireaents have been satistied.
