Dear Mr. Denton:
In our letter dated October 19, 1981, South Carolina Electric and Gas Canpany MCE&G) indicatel that a revised Table 3-4 would be subnitted reflecting the use of the Technical Specification Methcdology described in Section 4.2 of the report forwarded by the October 19, 1981 letter. Fevised Virgil C. Sunrner Nuclear Station Technical Spr ifications for the reactor trip system instrumentation setroints and engineered safety features actuation systen instrumentation setpoints will be forwardal in the near future.
Enclosed are:

Five (5) copies of Table 3-4, Revision 04, to the Peactor Prc.@ction System / Engineered Safety Ebatures Actuation Systen Setroint Methodology (Proprietary).
2.
Five (5) copies of Table 3-4, Revision 04, to the Reactor Protection System / Engineered Safety Ebatures Actuation Systen Setpoint Methodolcgy (Non-Proprietary).
