g The Connission has issued the enclosed Amendment flo. 72 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-39 and Amendment No. 66 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-48 for the Zion Station, Unit Hos. 1 and 2, respectively.
The amendments consist of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application transmitted by letter dated December 9 and 18, 1981.
These amendments revise the Technical Specifications to require two service water pumps during reactor operation and one standby pump per unit when the discharge-header is separated for the units and one standby pump for both units when the discharge header is cross-tied for both units.
Copies of the Safety Evaluation and the Hotice of Issuance are also enclosed.
