Dear Mr. Kinnemaa:

RE: Docket No.70-200 License No. SNM-1559 Inquiry No. 81-01 Expiration Date: August 31, 1980 I am in receipt of your letter of November 9,1981, regarding the expiration of Mount Sinai Hospital's license #SNM-1559.

Ms. J. Johansen and I discussed this by telephone on October 7,1981, and were in agreement that the Nuclear Regulatory Commission records accurately show that the special nuclear material license previously noted has expired and that no renewal application will be filed in accordance with Section 70.33 of Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 70.

Since the date issued, Mount Sinai Hospital has not acquired, received, possessed or used any licensed material nor have any patients been implanted with nuclear pacemakers at this institution.

If you require any further information pertaining to this matter, please feel free to contact me.
