Dear Mr. Greenberg:
Notification of the availability of NUREG 0801, " Evaluation Criteria for Detailed Control Room Design Review" appeared in the November 11, 1981 Faderal Register.
The comment period assigned to this document expires December 28, 1981.
Florida Power Corporation does not believe that a meaningful review of these criteria can be performed within the time provided.
Extension of the comment period for an additional sixty days would provide the utility industry with adequate time to supply critical insight and will not unreasonably delay control room design review.
Therefore, Florida Power Corporation requests that the comment period assigned to NUREG 0801 be extended an additional sixty (60) days until February 26, 1982.
