Dear Mr. Denton:
Enclosed are three (3) originals and forty (40) copies of Technical Specification Change Request No. 91, requesting amendment to Appendix A to Operating License No. DPR-
- 72. As part of this request, proposed replacement pages are enclosed.
Change Request No. 91 proposes operation of the unit at less than 40% Full Power during certain operations with the reactor coolant pump power monitor trip function bypassed. Florida Power Corporation considers Change Request No. 91 to be a Class Ill amendment per 10 CFR 170.22, as it involves an amendment that addresses a single safety issue. The amendment fee will be provided under separate correspondence.
A signed copy of the Certificate of Service for Technical Specification Change Request No. 91 to the Chief Executive of Citrus County, Florida, is enclosed.
