On October 20, 1981, the Ventura County Board of Supervisors voted (5-0) to support the request of its neighbor, County of Santa Barbara, and request that Governor Brown consider the feasibility of a detailed independent review by the State of California of the earthquake safety features of the Diablo Canyon nuclear facility.
Your support for Ventura and Santa Barbara County's position would be greatly appreciated by the people here and elsewhere in California.
