.On November 20, 1981, the-Nuclear Regulatory Comission suspended the

license for-Diablo Canyon Unit 1, which authorized fuel loading and low

~.. power operation, pending completion of a specified -seismic reverification

-- program to the satisfaction of the Commissioners.

I am enclosing a copy of the Commissions order and a copy of a letter sent by Mr. Harold Denton, Director of NRC's Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, requesting certain additional information.
