Dear Mr. Denton:
South Carolina Electric and Gas O'xnpany (SCE&G) hereby forwards ten (10) copies of the Virgil C. Sumner Control of Heavy Inads Nine obnth subnittal as required by NUREG 0612. 'Ihis report provides information required by Sections 2.2, 2.3 and 2.4 fran Enclosure 3 of D. G. Eisenhut's letter, dated December 22, 1980. As formatted this report contains all the information subnitted in the six nonth report in addition to that information required in the nire nonth rernrt.
Thus, this replaces the six nunth report in its entirety.
To ensure that a couplete report is assanbled, please follow the instructions listed below.
1.
Replace existing cover with new cover insert (provided).
2.
Remove existing text and replace with ned text, which includes Appendices A and B.
3.
Do not renove existing figures, which will follow Table 3-1; these figures have not changed.
With this transmittal, SCE&G has provided the subject report in its final form.
