Dear Mr. Mineck:
1 This is to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated February 28, 1990, which transmitted changes, identified as Revision 23, to the "Duane Arnold Security Plan" and " Security Contingency Plan," under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p).
We have reviewed the submitted changes and have determined that they are consistent with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p) and are therefore acceptable.
1 except as noted in the enclosure of this letter.
For those items identified as being unacceptable under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p), the previously approved plan revision must be followed.
You are requested to provide corrections to your security plan to address the issues identified in the enclosure within two months after receipt of this letter.
You may submit the change to your security plan either in accordance with 10 CFT 50.54(p) or 10 CFR 50.90.
The enclosures to your letter contain Safeguards Information of a type specified in 10 CFR 73.21 and are being withheld from public disclosure.
The enclosure to this letter concerns a subject matter which is exempt from disclosure according to Part 73, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations.
Section 73.21(c)(2). Consequently, the enclosurc to this letter will not be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
i In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a ccpy of this letter, excluding the enclosure, will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
The response requested by this letter is not subject to the clearance procedures of the office of Management and Budget as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980, PL 96-511.
