Gentlemen:
I am acknowledging your April 4,1990, letter to Mr. Robert Bernero in which Rocketdyne withdrew its license renewal rpplication and informed the Nuclear Regulatory Commission of the decision tr terminate all activities involving licensed materials. Rocketdyne's actions involving special nuclear material are now limited to actions related to uecommissioning the facility.
Your April 12, 1990, letter and decommissioning plan have also been received by our office for review and approval of the plan.
