CALVERT CLIFFS NUCLEAR POWER PLANT, UNIT NO. 2

TAC Number 74545 By letter dated November 3, 1989, you forwarded a copy of the subject plan i
which was requested by the NRC staff during a meeting held on September 25, 1989. The plan was developed as the result of discovering reactor coolant leakage from 20 heater penetrations and one pressure / level penetration in the Unit 2 pressurizer.
The information provided in the plan was used to supplement the information
.provided by your letters dated July 13 and October 27, 1989, which requested approval for the use of an alternate replacement material for the pressurizer penetrations. We provided our approval of your request by letter dated April 5, 1990.
This completes our activities-related to the above referenced TAC number.
