• Dresden Nuclear Station Security plan," under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p).

We have reviewed the submitted changes and have determined that they are consistent with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p) and are therefore acceptable for temporary periods such as refueling and maintenance outages.

The portion of the security plan change which allows one security officer to monitor alarm annunciations and also control personnel and equipment access is acceptable only if the duties do not interfere with one another.

During peak personnel traffic periods, one person may be required to control personnel and equiptent access and another person may be required to monitor alarm annunciation equipment.

The enclosures to your letter contain Safeguards Information of a type specified in 10 CFR 73.21 and are being withheld from public disclosure.

l In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC public Document Room.
