1981, to Nunzio J. Palladino, Chairman of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, regarding PG&E's seismic reverification program for Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant.
As you know, the Commission on November 19, 1981 suspended PG&E's license to load fuel and conduct low power tests at Diablo, pending completion to the Commission's satisfaction of a seismic reverification program.
The Commission considered your comments in establishing requirements for PG&E's audit and review program, as reflected in the enclosed Commission Order and related letter from the NRC staff to PG&E.
