Celenjak on May 20, 1981, in accordance with 10 CFR 50.55(e) as NCR 1467. This was followed by our interim reports dated June 19,
-August 26, and September 29, 1981. Enclosed is ou, fourth interim report.

FOURTH INTERIM REPORT -
Description of Deficiency An internal lack of fusion, approximately 1/8 inch wide and 21 inches long, was discovered during the installation of a spool pitce supplied j
by NAVCO. This internal lack of fusion was found during tile radiography of a circumferential butt weld. The radiograph overlapped an adjacent longitudinal we)d of the spool piece and indicated that it exhibited the lack of ws]d fusion. The spool piece is 12 inches in diameter, stainless steel SA312 TP304 welded pipe located in the Spent Fuel Cooling System.
Corrective Actions TVA is still in the process of evaluating the subject deficiency. The spool piece is being evaluated at' TVA's Singleton M terials Laboratory.
