BELLEFONTE NUCLEAR' PLANT UNITS 1 AND 2 - TOLERANCE FOR TUBULAR STEEL CABLE TRAY HANGERS - BLRD-50-438/81-47, BLRD-50-439/81 SECOND INTERIM REPORT The subject deficiency was initially reported to NRC-0IE Inspector R. V. Celenjak on July 16, 1981'in accordance with 10 CFR 50.55(e) as NCR 1478. This was followed by our first interim report dated August'14, 1981._ Enclosed is our second interim report. We expect to submit our-next' report by January 28, 1982.

SECOND INTERIM REPORT Description of Conditi jn Because of misunderstanding between the Bellefonte design project and Bellefonte field forces, the field forces fabricated and installed cable tray hangers outside the tolerances allowed by the seismic analysis.
Interim Progress TVA has identified those supports that were modified outside the tolerances without a Field Change Request to approve the modification.
This ir. formation, along with a description of each deviation, is being reviewed by TVA on a case-by-case basis. Any modification required to ensure seismic qualification will be made, s
