BELLEFONTE NUCLEAR PLANT UNITS 1 AND 2 - LACK OF INTERNAL PURGE ON TWO WELDS IN CHEMICAL ADDITION AND BORON RECOVERY SYSTEM - NCR 1171 -
SEVENTH INTERIM REPORT The subject nonconformance was initially reported to NRC-0IE Inspector J. D. Wilcox on April 17, 1980, in accordance with 10 CFR 50.55(e).
Interim reports were submitted on May 16, June 3, July 23, and December 1, 1980 and June 24~and September 15, 1981. TVA is continuing rework of the accessible welds having evidence of lack of purge. TVA is reviewing the proposed corrective action for the embedded and inaccessible welds. We expect to subm.it our next written report by February 2,1982.
