o your inquiry of October
'16, 1981 concerning your constituent Ms. Joette Lorion, and her letter to R.
Dale Seith, Chief, Low-Level Waste Licensing Branch.
With respect to her request for a copy of the proposed rule on land disposal for low-level radioactive waste (10 CFR 61), Mr. Smith transmitted a copy to her on October 9, 198't.
In regard to the status of the license governing low-level radioactive waste storage at the Turkey Point Power Plant in Florida, Mr. Smith's staff thoroughly researched the information and sent Ms.
Lorion a status report on November 6,1981.
A copy of Mr. Smith's letter is enclosed for your information.
