In response to your August 18, 1981 letter transmitting Nuclear Regulatory Connission IE Bulletin No. 81-02, Supplement 1, we wish to infonn you that no W-EMD manufactured motor-operated gate valves are or will be installed, or iiiaintained as spares for installation at Cherokee or Perkins Nuclear Stations.
Approximately 2 manhours were expended in the research and preparation of our response to this bulletin supplement.
