RE: Ef1ERGENCY AUTif0RIZATION FOR REFUELING This confinns my telephone authorization of November 4,1981 wherein we granted the Boston Edison Company (BECo) relief from Sections 3.7.9.1.c, 3.7.B.l.e. 3.7.B.2.a. and 3.7.B.2.c of the Pilgrim 1 Technical Spccifications for the period of November 4 through November 24, 1981. This change was subject to the conditions established in BEco letter 81-257 (November.4, 1981) as documented in our Safety Evaluation which was comunicated to your plant supervisory personnel (C. Mathis).
A copy of the Amendment, the Safety Evaluation, and the Federal Register Notice will be sent to you in the near future.
