Dear Mr. Denton:
In a letter dated January 9, 1981, South Carolina Electric and Gas Company committed to perform testing as requiren in IE Bulletin 80-06 to verify proper equipment response to reset of Engineered Safety Features Actuation Signals.
This i. tem is also addressed in SER Section 7.1.4.
Please be advised that this testing has been performed, with the results satisf actorily reviewed by I&E Inspector Mr. T.D. Gibbons.
This item is addressed end was closed by I&E Inspection Report No. 81-24.
This additional information should provide you with sufficient information to close this SER Open Item 1.7.10.
