LICENSE AMENDMENT REGARDING TMI LESSONS LEARNED AND EQUIPMENT OPERABILITY The Commist.fon has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 25 for the La Crosse Boiling Water Reactor (LACBWR). The amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your submittal of September 12 1980 (LAC-7136).
The amendment modifies the Technical Specifications to incorporate changes resulting from Lessons Learned as a result of the accident at THI-2. It also revises the standards used to determine equipment operability.
During our review of your application, we found it necessary to modify the proposed Technical Specifications. We have discussed these changes with your representative and have mutually agreed upon them.
Copies of our Safety Evaluation and the Notice of Issuance are also enclosed.
