In response tc te NRC letter of April 11, 1977, concerning '.ne need for additional infornation f r instrumnt setpoint values, South Carolina Electric and Gas 02npany (SCE&G) is forwarding the enclosed material. This should also satisfy the I&C Branch <vncern in SER Section 7.2.3 to provide an analysis of the effect of pst-accident environmental conditions on the setpoint for the reactor trip systan and engineered safety features actuation systen instrumntation.

As this subnittal contains information proprietary to Westinghouse Electric Cbrporation, it is supported by an affidavit signed by Westing kuse, the owners of the information. 'Ihe affidavit sets forth the basis on which the information may be withheid fran public disclosure by the Omrmission and addresses with specificity the considerations listed in paragraph (b)(4) of Section 2.790 of the Comnission's regulations.
