RE: ENRGENCY AUTHORIZATION FOR REFUELING This confinns rqy telephone authorization of October 2,1981 whe,'ein we granted the Boston Edison Company (BEco) relief from Sections 3.7.B.1.c.
3.7.B.l.e, 3.7.B.2.a. and 3.7.B.2.c of the Pilgrim 1 Technical Specifications for the period of October 3 through October 19, 1981. This change was subject to the conditions established in BECo letter 81-230 (September 30, 1981) and BEco letter 81-232 (October 2,1981) as documented in our Safety Evaluation.
A copy of the Amendment, the Safety Evaluation, and the Federal Register Notice will be sent to you in the near future.
