Ho In accordance with your application dated August 6; 1981, and pursuant to Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 70, Item 9 of Materials License No. SNM-1852 is hereby amended to add the date of August 6; 1981 to ideatify new co-holders of Materials License SNM-lSS2,and to permit storage of new fuel assemblies prior to the installation of fire detection and alarm systems. Accordingly, Item 1 of Materials License No. SNM-1852 is revised to read:

Southern California Edison Company San Diego Gas and Electric Company City of Anaheim, California City of Riverside, California Condition 15. of your license, concerning storage of fresh fuel prior to installation of fire.' detection and alam systems, is hereby rescinded.
All other license conditions shall remain the same.
It is our understanding that flame detectors, rather than smoke detectors and heat rate of rise detectors, are being installed in the new fuel storage areas. Your Mr. Derrick Meiturio informed us of this change by telephone on September 4,1981.
