Dear Hr. Parker:

NTrehan Edordan

Subject:

Emergency Procedures and Training for Station Blackout (McGuire Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2) i We have reviewed your June 1,1981 response to generic letter 81-04 regarding emergency procedures and training for station blackout events. Our revi w was to confirm that the subject procedures and training either currently exist or will be implemented on an acceptable schedule at the McGuire Huc1 car Station.

j Our review did not include an evaluation of the details provided in your i

response beyond that necessary to confirm the above.

i l

You in'dicated that procedures and training for station blackout will be imple-mented at McGuire by mid-November,1981. We find this implementation schedule acceptable. The NRC's Office of Inspection and Enforcement will review the subject procedures and training program during a future plant inspection.

Sincerely.
