Re: fline Mile Point Unit 2 Docket flo. 50-410 On June 17, 1980 the Region I Office of Inspection and Enforcement was notified of a 50.55(e) deficiency. This involved Rosemont Model tio.1152 pressure transmitters which provided ambiguous outputs at pressures over or under the specified pressure range. This condition had previously been reported to the Region V Office of Inspection and Enforcement by our nuclear stean syston supplier, General Electric, per the requirements of 10 CFR Part 21.
Although a review of our files has indicated that we anparently did not submit a formal 30 day report; nevertheless fliagara Mohawk has provided information on this subject in our response to IE Bulletin 80-16, which is attached.
As indicated in the attached response to IE aulletin 80-16, additional information cannot be provided until December 31, 1981, as we are avaiting further action by our nuclear steam systen supplier.

Re: Nine Mile Point Unit 2 Docket No. 50-410 Your June 27, 1980 I. E. Bulletin No. 80-16 requested information p
regarding the potential misapplication of Rosemount, Inc. Model 1151 and 1152 pressure transmitters in safety related application at Nine Mile Point Unit 2.
A preliminary review has identified the potential applications and locations of the suspect parts in safety related systems at Unit 2, as indicated in Table 1 attached.
As indicated in the attached table, the recommended fix is to replace "A" or "D" output boards with "E" output boards.
The panels identified in the attached table will be ins acted to detemine which output boards have been installed. The results of this inspection and the corrective action taken will be reported to you by December 31, 1981.
