The NRC SALP Report is attached as Enclosure 2.

Public Power Supply System letter G03-82-1256 dated December 6, 1982, which we requested in our letter dated October 27, 1982, provided licensee comitments for performance improvements. These letters are attached as Enclosures 3 and 4. is a copy of G03-82-1254 dated December 6, 1982, a supplementry response addressing Supply System management involvement and design control activities that was referenced in Enclosure 3.
Overall, your perfornance of licensed activities was found to be acceptable.
Weaknesses were identified in Section IV of the SALP Report, primarily related to Supply System management involvement and ensite design control. During the maeting of November 4,1982, we discussed our assessment of your performance in these areas. We have reviewed your letters of Decenber 6,1982 and determined that your actions to improve performance in the areas needing attentinn are responsive.
He consider that our meeting was beneficial and improved mutual understanding of your activities and our regulatory progran. Based on your cornnents during the necting and your December 6, letters, we have found that our assessment of
" Soils and foundation" should be rerated to Category 2 and is herein so noted. He have fcund that no other changes to our assessment are necessary.
