Dear Mr. Seidle:
Fort Calhoun Station Quality Assurance Audit Matrix Omaha Public Power District responded to the Conunission's Per-formance Appraisal Inspection (IE Report 81-24) of the Fort Calhoun Station by letter dated November 20, 1981. Specifically, in response to Items 6.a.(2) and 6.a.(3), the District stated that a QA audit matrix, encompassing audit cycles of three years, would be developed and imple-mented by November 1,1982 to ensure all Fort Calhoun Station quality related activities are audited.
The District included several new quality areas into the 1982 audit program and has been working on the development of the audit matrix program.
However, the District intends to commence implementation of this new audit matrix with the start of a calendar year; thus, the implementation date is now January 1,1983.
