WNP-3 POST-DOCKET MANAGEMENT BRIEFING I appreciated the opportunity to meet with NRC management and discuss the WNP-3 Operating License Application at the Post-Docket Briefing on October 27, 1982. The session was beneficial and I am sure will contribute to initiating the OL review in a spirit of cooperation.
Although circumstances prevented me from meeting with you at or after the briefing I look forward to discussing the licensing of WNP-3 in the near future.
Also, I wish to thank the NRC WNP-3 Licensing Projert Manager, Mr. L. L. Wheeler for his efforts in setting up this meeting, as well as his assistance in the acceptance review and docketing process.
Since Mr. Wheeler is currently serving as Project Manager for two active projects, I foresee the time when it may be necessary to divide his responsibilities. I am anxious to see Mr. Wheeler continue as Project Manager for WNP-3, and ask that this be kept in mind should reassignment of his responsibilities be contemplated. His positive, professional approach is appreciated.
