Dear Mr. Keppler:
This is to provide information regarding liftoff test of tendons stressed at Braidwood using gauges which were later found to be out o f tolerance.
This matter was discussed in the inspection report attached to reference (a) and was the subject o f a Notice o f Violation.
In responding to the Notice of Violation we indicated that a lif tof f test would be performed on the last tendon stressed on i
each aay the gauges were found to be out of tolerance.
The results of these tests would be evaluated by the architect-engineer to determine if further action is necessary.
We expected to be able to supply a report of this evaluation by June 30, 1982.
It now appears that the testing will be done in October o f 1982 and that our final j
report will be available by December 31, 1982.
