Thank you for your letter of July 28, 1983, informing us of steps you have taken
to correct the violations concerning activities under NRC Operating License
Nos. NFF-9 and NPF-17 brought to your attention in our letter of June 28, 1983.

We have noted a partial disagreement in your response to the second example of
'
violation 69/83-21-02; The disagreement was on mislabeling and misfiling of
vendor manisal MCM-1399.40-18. We concur with your explanation, however, the
point we attempted to convey was,that the vendor manual MCM-1399.39-1, which is

a compendium of; Westinghouse manuals, was not updated in that it did not include
rev.ised information on breaker ma'ntenance which in effect is manual
MCM-1399.40-18. To our understana.ng you are in agreement on this. We will
. -
examine your corrective actions and plans during sub;equent inspections.
